The role
As a Creative Manager (CM), you'll focus on creating social media content, including graphics, videos, infographics, podcasts, photography and more. This role involves managing content creation campaigns, client management and overseeing Creative Assistants. You'll also support Social Media Managers in influencer marketing campaigns by developing strategies, researching influencers, and managing campaigns. You'll be responsible for continuous improvement of our content creation service and expanding our client base. This role will include managing assigned clients and covering for team members when needed.
Reporting Line
Your day-to-day work will be supported by the Senior Social Media Manager(s), with overall supervision and oversight provided by the Head of Operations.

What you’ll be doing
The role of Creative Manager involves you managing the social presence of a number of clients, in line with specific packages and objectives. Your responsibilities will be:
Content Creation:
Lead photography and videography efforts for clients.
Host podcasts, from concept creation to editing.
Expand content creation capabilities.
Create engaging social media content, including graphics, infographics, and videos.
Develop full-size infographics with accurate research.
Provide edits based on feedback.
Create unique client strategies in the content creation section of the strategy document.
Assist New Business Managers with example posts.
Deliver training sessions for Creative Assistants and Social Media Assistants.
Social Media Management:
Manage social media channels and adapt content for different platforms.
Plan and deliver well-written, visually engaging organic posts.
Schedule content using tools like Sprout Social, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
Manage and engage with social media communities.
Build relationships with influencers.
Assist with onboarding new clients.
Manage competitions and campaigns.
Perform cover work for delivery or management.
Collaborate with Senior Social Media Managers for high-quality delivery.
Influencer Marketing:
Understand and deliver influencer marketing campaigns.
Develop strategies, research influencers, plan ideas, and manage campaigns.
Upsell influencer marketing services and seek new leads.
Continuously improve the influencer marketing service.
Client Management:
Manage content creation campaigns for clients.
Develop and deliver content-focused strategies.
Coordinate and lead client management activities.
Support Creative Assistants and provide inspiration.
Cover client management responsibilities for Social Media Managers.
Learning & Improving:
Conduct research and analysis to inform content creation.
Monitor and analyze performance data on social media platforms.
Ensure compliance with paid advertising policies.
Identify opportunities for improving organic activity.
Stay updated on trends and techniques in social media.
Share social media lessons with the team.
Communications & Culture:
Participate in client communications and meetings.
Stay organized with Asana and take notes on client developments.
Attend team meetings, virtual sessions, and training sessions.
Perform temporary duties outside of your role when needed.
Who we are looking for
To excel in this role, you should have:
Natural creativity with a constant desire for improvement.
Knowledge and awareness of the latest content creation, creativity, and social media trends.
Experience working with Canva, Unfold, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Familiarity with major social networks, beyond personal use, preferably in a professional capacity.
Excellent written communication skills with no spelling or grammatical errors.
Strong communication skills and a passion for building online communities.
Natural leadership skills and a proactive approach to sharing creative inspiration.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
Experience working in an agency or other fast paced environment
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
A drive for personal improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to attend monthly team office day in Portsmouth
It's advantageous if you also have:
Experience creating visual and interactive content for social media – agency side.
Photography and/or videography experience.
Experience as a social media influencer.
Experience generating content for TikTok.
Knowledge of other marketing areas.
Experience in client/customer facing roles.
Team management experience.
Experience delivering training sessions.
Remote working experience.
Qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, Media, Advertising, or English.
