Our business is growing and our team is expanding, so we’re looking for highly-motivated individuals to support our diverse client-base, and help us build the Dolphin brand.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging businesses who may have use for our services. Strong communication skills are essential alongside experience in building client portfolios, networking and nurturing relationships throughout the client journey. You will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines as part of a team or when working independently.
This role is mainly internal for Dolphin’s development, however, there may be an opportunity to also provide this support to clients depending on your availability. We’re looking for someone who can give us a minimum of 10hrs a week.
Objectives of this role:
Generate revenue by expanding into new markets
The initial target for this role will be to bring in an additional £20k worth of monthly contracts, with the majority focus on long term relationships and retainer contracts.
We are also launching passive income streams and you would be a critical part of their success
As the team expands, to ensure you’re aware of staff skills and availability and to target prospective clients to meet these new expertise
Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients
Assist in the develop of new products and services, including detailed marketing strategies and pricing plans
Initiate new partnerships and business acquisitions by delivering product pitches and presentations.
Become a subject matter expert on company services, processes and operations, remaining up-to-date on industry news
Be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to be able to manage your own time effectively, be a self starter and keep clear records of your achievements.
Responsibilities:
Develop a growth strategy focussed both on financial gain and customer satisfaction using forecasting and analytics to drive success
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs as well as sourcing funding options and investment opportunities
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Promote company products and services that meet the needs of prospective customers
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Manage the CRM system, updating the pipeline on a daily basis to monitor progress of sales and revenue
Develop and implement a plan for engaging staff in promoting business functions and maintaining client relationships
Work closely with our marketing team to ensure the business is aligned
You would be expected to win new contracts within 1-month of starting with us. We’re offering a great commission structure, but we require results.
Required skills and qualifications:
3+ years experience in a business development role with a proven sales record
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
A proven project management record, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills
Possess a metrics-driven mind with an eye for creativity in product and service development
In depth knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Trello
Strong time management and negotiation skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business with a focus on sales, marketing, finance or economics
Willingness to travel (this may open opportunities for work, but is not a requirement of the role, which is a WFH position)
Previous recruitment experience, preferably with a focus on placing temporary staff

Remuneration & further information:
Basic salary of £30,000 FTE + uncapped commission:
50% commission on all new monthly contracts payable on the completion of the client’s trial period. (For example, if a contract of £4k per month is won - you would earn £2k in commission) 20% on any project based/1-off jobs and passive income.
There is an uncapped commission structure to match our continual business growth.
Based on the initial targets, you would expect to earn £10k in contract commission. This is equivalent to £1,666.67 per month over 6 months.
Within 6 months, we would like to have exceeded the initial target of £20k. We would then aim to repeat this growth.
We will also provide additional opportunities to work with and earn additional pay and commission with clients, (should the successful candidate have additional time availability) - to enable a truly unlimited earning potential.
This role offers career progression. As the organisation grows, we’d be looking for someone to step up into a management role and head up the growth of our Business Development team. If career progression is an aim, we’ll support you in reaching it.
